Connect Google

About 15 minutes · Updated 23 October 2026

You need

  • A Google Cloud project (the same one as for speech)
  • A browser on the PC

Turn on the APIs

In the Google Cloud Console, enable the Calendar, Tasks, Gmail, Drive and Docs APIs.

Make an OAuth client

Create an OAuth client of type Desktop app and save its JSON as google-oauth-client.json at the top of the repository.

Set the consent screen to In production. In “Testing”, Google ends the sign-in after seven days.

.venv\Scripts\python.exe -m natro_agent.google_signin

Google warns once that the app isn’t verified. That’s expected for a personal app.

Copy the token to your server

The sign-in saves tokens/google.json. If Natro runs on a server, copy it to the same place there, readable only by Natro’s user, and restart Natro.

To remove Natro’s access later, go to myaccount.google.com/permissions.
